Welcome Message

Welcome to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a prestigious college preparatory program for students of the St. Vrain Valley Schools.  Authorized in 2001, Niwot High School offers the full IB Diploma Programme, with the Niwot Pre-IB Programme for 9th and 10th grade students.  The student population at NHS consists of over 1/3 Niwot Pre-IB and IB students.  Our outstanding faculty is highly trained to prepare our IB candidates for university entrance.  Our success rate is second to none, proven by many IB graduates who have earned 24 or more college credits prior to college.

Students must apply for the Niwot Pre-IB and IB Programmes, and applications are available on this site.  Interested 8th graders should attend an IB Informational meeting in November or December.  Please see the schedule posted online for our most current informational meetings, and plan to attend a meeting.  Applications are due in December for the following school year, so be sure to plan ahead!
